Ahava teaches on going group classes at Hipline in Berkeley, CA!

Intermediate/Advanced Belly Dance
Ths is a technique class for int/adv dancers that incorporates complex pops, locks and floor patterns that are used by the top Belly Dance stars! Technique, repetition and musicality is the key to success in this class so it is advised that you have at least 6 consecutive months of participation in the Belly Dance Beg/Int class in order to keep up. Class incorporates Arabic musicality, choreography, props and techniques to help you feel comfortable with improv dancing.
This is a barefoot class, wear what you would normally wear to practice dance in, bring a towel, waterbottle, and hipscarf (optional). If you have finger cymbals, bring them as we sometimes add finger cymbal drills to movement as an option.

Competition Prep
Competition season is coimg up and Ahava is available to help you prepare for your performance! Ahava has won numerous awards from 2005-2008. After winning BDOY in 2008, Ahava retired from the competition circut and now, instead of competitng on the stage, she is now judging and teaches several workshops based on competition preparation. Ahava has coached several award winning troupes and solo artists to help them prepare for competitions.
Choreography
Ahava is well known for her choreography skills. Having trouble structuring your dance? Let Ahava help fill in the gaps. She is available to choreograph for soloists or troupes. Please call 925.922.2832 or send an email for pricing.

**Attention students** As of January 1st of 2010 the rates for private lessons and coaching have been raised to $60/hr for enrolled students and $70/hr for non-enrolled students.
**For new students interested in private lessons/coaching please send me an email me so that I can send you a new student form to have a better understanding of your experience and what you wish to accomplish as a dancer :)**
